Searching for the right care home is not something any of us do every day. Often when the time does come, it can be quite stressful for all involved. To assist in deciding whether Le Platon is right for you or not we are here to provide guidance on the issues you might want to consider in your search.
Following an enquiry on moving to Le Platon our Home Manager will arrange to visit the person in their current home, the main purpose of the visit is to assess the individual to better understand whether Le Platon is confident in being able to provide the level of care and support required by the person being considered.
Potential residents to the home and their family members are encouraged to visit the home, this may help in answering some of the questions that go through our minds when considering a move to a residential home.
We understand that it is not always possible for the potential resident to visit the home due to their health condition and other considerations, but we always encourage their involvement in making the decision on moving to the home.
