Since its inception in 1914, Le Platon has been a cornerstone of support and comfort in Guernsey, providing a safe and caring home for the elderly, regardless of their background or beliefs.
As our population ages, the demand for care services has increased, highlighting the need for expanded and specialised care.
Meeting growing needs
Guernsey faces a significant shortage of care home spaces, compounded by an ageing population and the rising prevalence of conditions like dementia. To address these challenges, Le Platon has expanded to offer 50 bedrooms, including 37 specialist dementia care beds. This expansion ensures we can provide the highest level of care to those who need it most.
How you can make a difference
As an independent care home and registered charity, Le Platon receives no financial support from the States of Guernsey. We rely on the generosity of donors to maintain and enhance our facilities, ensuring we continue to deliver top-quality care.
