During the re-development of Le Platon the home will be posting regular photo updates on the website of the building work. It is hoped that in providing regular photo updates that visitors to the website will gain an understanding of the development.

Development work at Le Platon Home commenced in November 2018 and is scheduled for final completion in 2021. Initial works commenced in November 2018 and comprised a six-week period of work leading up to Christmas. This initial works comprised the clearance of land and establishing the new car park. This area can be seen in the distance on the photos. Works undertaken also in this period was the demolition of some buildings to provide an area for the first phase of the development.

The development has two phases, phases 1 and phase 2. All the photos currently posted to the gallery are of preparation works and commencement of Phase 1. When completed in January 2020 this area will provide 26 single bedrooms with en-suites.
